Nintendo Revolution Unveiled

On Tuesday, Nintendo revealed the Nintendo Revolution. Revolution will be backwards compatible with GameCube games and feature wireless controllers. Nintendo admits that their new system is only two or three times more powerful than the GameCube. One of the cooler features of Revolution is that NES, SNES, and N64 titles from yesteryear will be downloadable through Nintendo's new wireless gaming service, Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

Konami has announced that an exclusive PS2 version of Metal Gear Solid 3 (MGS 3) titled MGS 3: Subsistence will include online battle modes, a third-person camera perspective, and the first ever U.S. releases of the original MSX Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2.

However, the biggest news from Konami is that Metal Gear Solid 4 will be released on the PS3 and will actually be directed by Hideo Kojima (it was reported earlier that he would not direct MGS 4).
